Train The Trainer


World Class producers know that training employees is a key ingredient to maintaining a competitive advantage. Cost effective training can be done in-house using experienced employees as instructors. However, many lack training skills such as course development and good teaching habits. The "Train the Trainer" Workshop" is designed to equip experienced employees and managers with the basic tools to effectively train field sales engineers.

The course will cover:

  • Training Models - Discover three different training models and how to select the best one.

  • The Trainer's Function - How to motivate others to learn.

  • Learning Concepts - The practical and psychological factors of the learning process. Increasing effectiveness and retention. Identifying training obstacles.

  • Training Helps - Techniques, do's & don'ts and how to use training materials.

  • Preparation & Sequence - Outlining & preparation of a training session.

  • Training Goals - Establishing proper training goals for the trainer and student.

Length: 4 to 5 hours. Live role-playing adds 2 hours (group size of 16).

Who: All employees who act in a training capacity.

Syllabus: An attractive, bound syllabus is available.

Size: Ideal group size is 8 to 16 participants based on the planned group interactions. More can be accommodated in a modified format.

Room: U-shaped table arrangement.

Equipment: Overhead projector, 35 mm slide projector, flip chart and a 30" TV with an "S-Video" input jack.
